How it works

The weeks are allocated to the owners at the AGM which is normally held in November for the year after next.  For example 2015 allocation was made at the AGM in November 2013 so this gives time to make arrangements for holidays.  Each share will be allocated 2 separate weeks within the year, by drawing randomly at the AGM.  Typically owners will get a spring & summer allocation one year, followed by a summer & autumn the next year.

After purchasing their share(s), the mooring, maintenance, insurance etc. are consolidated for the year and split equally across 20 shares.  The annual maintenance cost for 2015 is £700 per share - for each 2 week allocation.  The only additional cost is what the owner pays for re-fuelling and pump-out when on the boat for their allocated weeks, which is typically less than £80.
